A typing race against bots and your own ghost
Overdrive turns a typing test into a race. Every word you type moves your car down the track against bots paced around your goal speed and a ghost of your best run. At the flag you get your words per minute (WPM), your accuracy, and a graph of your pace.
Sprint
10 to 100 words. The text is the track, and the first car to the flag wins. Mistakes you leave behind won't stop you crossing the line, but they cost you time.
Endurance
15 seconds to 2 minutes. There's no flag until the bell, and whoever covers the most ground takes it.
Quote
A sprint on a real quote, punctuation and all.
Your best run for each race setup is saved in your browser as a ghost, and it lines up against you the next time you race that setup. Turn on punctuation or numbers in sprint and endurance races for extra practice.
